    Did a refinancing with pen fed to buy out my lease and they put the wrong name on the check and continuously tell me they will mail my check out and never do. I’m going to be responsible to now pay for my vehicle each month as a renting fee since it’s past my lease date and I still haven’t received anything. Do not recommend them for any large or time sensitive loans.

    I have been a long time member and always treated with care and respect. I feel very comfortable and safe with my membership services at PenFed Financial Institution. My long term plans are to stay with PenFed Financial Institution for as long as I'm able. God Bless Always/ Best Regards

    Would not recommend for refinancing loans! They locked my account for seemingly no reason, and won't let me make a payment online or on the phone. Like what year is it that I have to mail you a check? I don't have checks, stamps, or envelopes. Like all I need you to do is take my money and you've made it so difficult. 👎👎

    If there is fraudulent activity on your account such as unauthorized ATM withdrawals you get the run around. You speak with various reps that ask for info to verify who you are. The fraud department does an investigation but can't find out how someone can call from a phone number that is not on file and change your PIN, they can't explain how the max daily withdrawal limit is exceeded. If there is suspicious activity no alert is sent. The bank has a security problem it needs to address otherwise don't expect any help if you're a victim of fraudulent activity

    In literally a few hours - by the time I called, got the info needed to PenFed, completed the application process, and got approved - I received approval for a terrific auto loan rate. The check was then FedEx'd to me as promised.

    They have a bad application process . They have a policy with expiration date that they don’t notify you prior to filling out application. I suggest people not get credit here or Penfed in general. I uploaded documents and that was a run around. In the upload they want pdf which I had to check and they don’t have multiples slots for pdf and I had to combine files .They tell me about documents that I need to upload which I already did. The rep didn’t even show any sort of remorse. They sent email saying I have to apply again. Who wants to ding their credit score due to a company’s incompetence? This company does not show accountability.

    Ms. Gaffney net was an outstanding representation of quality customer service. She is more than an asset to PenFed she is an essential piece the the intricate puzzle of banking and a phenomenal part of the PenFed team. I feel better banking with PenFed because of managers like her. Thank you.

    PENFED in general has the WORST customer service. Once they get you the loan forget about getting you what you need like title information. It’s been more than one month and we are still waiting for the docs we requested from them. When we call we are on hold over 30 minutes with no real answer at the end. Then we send a message thru their website and they eventually reply with an standard message….again, no real solution.

    This was a very easy process in applying for their auto loan. I was very pleased with all the representatives I spoke with during my process. This is a great organization to bank with and participate in the other services they have to offer. To me this is an A++ company and you won't be disappointed with the service they offer.

    Excellent Financial institution to deal with. Loan process simple and easy to understand. Jeremy and Michael were very knowledgeable and courteous and easy to work with explaining the process step by step. Will work with this company and these people again gladly.
