Chris Figueroa2It genuinely pains me to have to write this review. My mother had opened an account for me back when this location was known as Niles Township Schools Credit Union several years back. For the most part, this bank has treated me well. The staff no longer seem as friendly these days, and that local credit union feel to me just seems to have gone away as of late. Things aren't as personable, so to speak. For my past experiences of fantastic services that my mother and I had in the past, I can't bring myself to justify a single-star rating. My primary dissatisfaction comes with a lack of a system for employee accountability in the face of errors and protection for a customer for when these mistakes happen. A few months ago, I made two purchases that amounted to a few hundred dollars, and I never received my product nor have I ever received a response from the seller. After initially calling, I was told by a fairly young gentlemen (whose name I cannot recall, Jake or Jason, perhaps?) that I needed to wait a few months for a response for the merchant, and if I still had nothing, to move forward with a chargeback. I did as instructed, and upon visiting the facility today, I was told my limit was within 60 days of purchase. On one hand, I can understand if someone reads this and rolls their eyes because it could also be a case in which perhaps I didn't understand what was told to me. I had confirmed this information with the young gentleman, and it begs the question, would I really wait months after I lost a few hundred dollars? Only if I were told to. Now, I understand these things can happen. As people working within a system, a mistake is sure to happen eventually--I get that. My primary dissatisfaction comes when there's no re-course for me after I was told that there was nothing that could be done with me, regardless of the circumstances behind the information I was told. It's unfortunate, to say the least.

Richard Ostapinski1This Fanacial Institution is not trasted to keep saving I have account with them for 20 years. When they become "Partnership Credit Union" I lost some savings due their monthly charges $25 a month I do not recommend entrust your savings there, your many are not safe.
