    I don’t know why but every time I go in here I get the same person and she is so rude to me. Seemed to be upset because I didn’t know you could call about mobile deposit instead of educating me she just continued to tell the other person about people not doing that. I work in customer service and this is poor. There’s no reason for people to be rude like this. There was plenty more during this interaction but I really do not want to open that can of worms. I left today feeling upset and a bit embarrassed. I moved here a few years ago and nowhere I have been has been good customer service. I mean if they want everyone to do everything digital and not go in then fine so be it. I really do like this bank and how my accounts work, but I really would love a change in staff that actually appreciate my business. I don’t want to feel anxious having to go to the bank for something. There’s already enough going on kindness is about all we have left.

    I have never in my life experienced such awful customer service as I did with NRFCU. The amount of incompetence throughout organization is astounding. I was a new loan customer back in December and the process, since then, has been dreadful. I was unsure how to use the mobile banking, so I called to ask questions. The woman who was transferred to help me said "I am unfamiliar with our online system and can't help you" and hung up. I lost out on a deal with turning in my car because the loan officer "didn't know he had the paperwork on his desk". Switching credit unions completely was easier then dealing with the rude and uninformed staff. Every question I had couldn't be answered. Would absolutely never recommend.

    I have been nothing but pleased with this credit union. I opened my account and everyone was so helpful, the clerks are always pleasant with smiles on their faces. They are involved in the community and sponsor food truck days and fund raise for different organizations. I have watched them expand and offer new things over the years. I do not feel like I am just a number on the corporate ledger, I am a person and I am treated individually with care. Thank you for breaking the banking mould!!

    I had to edit, today a holiday ( happens on Thanksgiving also) direct deposit was made yesterday, system down no way of checking my balances and no available funds cause etheir system is not updated enough to make fund available as soon as it hits your account. Could be trying to bounce more payments to make more money. Unacceptable. Thanks for reminding me to close my account before Thanksgiving, can't black Friday shop without money. Horrible bank, reordering transactions to profit themselves and steal from their customers. Find another bank. I will close mine account.

    App is literally awful, you don’t see pending charges or pending checks, if you spend anything on the weekend you won’t know the transactions until Monday. So if you wanna pay a credit card bill or any bill on a Friday you’re not gonna see it until some time on Monday. Like???

    The people are great. You can actually get someone on the phone which is nice. Like most banks the hours of operation aren’t great. One time they wouldn’t assist me with charge back another time they did. I had over the limit fee that they waved. You can’t deposit cash at their ATM which is ironic. Again awesome staff. 4.5 stars. Mb

    Closed my checking account after continuously dealing with one of the rudest women I've ever met. Switching my bank was much easier than having to deal with her. If I ever had a question or problem she made it seem like it was such a hassle to help. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the women I corresponded with about my car loan was very kind and helpful.

    We have been banking with NRFCU for several years and we love it..first I'd like to say I am always greeted with a warm smile the minute I enter, everyone behind the counter are very personable,friendly and professional !! We refinanced our home and thought ughh, let the headache begin..NOT here, it was very simple and went so smoothly, our million questions we're answered quickly and they were very patient with us. I can't imagine banking anywhere else

    Banks and credit unions that charge fees like overdraft fees are not going to be around in the foreseeable future. Like toys r us, Sears, and K-mart, They couldn’t change their business plan on time. Today you can open a checking account and saving accounts without over draft protection because, well there isn’t such type of fee available or other hidden type of fees. In order to stick around for this generation or the next you should see changes even if the banks or credit union don’t. CHECK OUT “STASH” banking if you don’t Believe me.     We have many family accounts at NRFCU. We have always have excellent service. I recently took out a car loan, and the process was exceptionally easy. Everything was done quickly and efficiently with no hassles at all. Highly recommend.
