Monday I came in and spoke with a representative at this branch who gave conflicting information… Wasted a lot of my time and money. Did not appreciate that. I’ve been banking with Navy Federal for years and have never had an experience like this. Very sad.
Got an auto loan 2 years ago at 4% Interest, when I was a civilian, I recently went active duty . The car was totaled and payed off my insurance company. Went back to get another loan and was approved at the same 4%. After buying a vehicle they changed the rate to 8% without notifying me and now they’re telling me it can’t be changed. The car dealer already cashed the check so I can’t even return the car. I loved this bank and have everything through them. They completely screwed me and it’s my belief it’s because I’m active duty now and they’re taking advantage of my Government paycheck.
I went in today to deposit a little over $20 in change into my account. I was told that to give them change it had to be rolled. What bank doesn't have a machine to count change? Other tiny banks out in the middle of nowhere even are able to count change. They gave me some rolling sleeves and told me I could sit in the lobby and roll the change. But, I dont have 30 minutes to sit at the bank counting change. The staff was very nice about it, and I understand that if that's what they have to tell customers that's what they have to say. But, I just find it unacceptable that a bank can't count change. My change is also full of odd numbers that it wouldn't even all fit into rolls, so I wouldn't be able to put all my change into my account. Very disappointed.
I am trying to call the store but they do not have their branch number listed. only the 1 800 number. I'm just calling to ask if I need more than 2 forms of ID to open an account but spent 10 minutes with their automated answering service. I am leaving my current bank because the automated service is so bad. I will not go to a bank that has the same garbage.
Waited on hold for over 30 min waiting for an sf 1199a. Switched to USAA while still on hold. Do better guys this is ridiculous.
navy fed is possibly the worst bank i've ever worked with, been trying to sell my car to this guy for over a month now so i went and asked if they could ship my title in, they said no problem 5-7 business days. it's been over a month and every time i ask them where it's at they say they don't know and to try again in 30 days. whenever i get my title back, if i ever do i will definitely be switching banks.

Been with NFCU for over 10 yrs. So far so good esp with the bank being in Evans Mills. The staff are always polite and never had to be bothered with a long wait time. 10 stars🌟
So glad we have a navy fed. When i first moved here I tried banking on post and never received our bank cards. By then this location had opened and I closed my acc there immediately
I've been a member for years now. We have two car loans through them and always get great customer service!
