      Suggestion on your Teller's communication. Having spent 32 years relying on clear and concise communication to save lives as well as stay alive; I learned the importance of training associates (dispatch and Field Agents) "do not kiss the microphone!!!! Hence, practice holding or standing a short distance from you mouth; hence the "muffle-run together" effect will take place and cause all your sentences, comments, questions or answers to run together and be muffled!!!!! I had not seen the Teller before, so I believe she may have been fairly new; however, she made a concerted effort to assist and did so in a very professional way! Definitely a valued asset of the team!!! Thank you

      I have been a member with Mountain America most of my adult life, I love banking here but there customer service is so bad. I can never get them to answer there phone. It is beyond upsetting to work with them over the phone. There app is fantastic and working with them in person is great, but I don't always have time to go down to the bank. Hoping they read this so I can get a call back.!

      Girl named Lexi helped me on the phone then proceeded to tell me that the transaction that I made that was now being placed on hold because mountain American decided that I couldn't spend my money on what I want. She then tells me I have to wait tell the 31'st to get my money back... the money they're putting on hold. Or else i have to call the people who i was trying to buy something from and have the manager fill out all this information. This company doesnt care about you at all and then she proceeded to get mad at me lol when I asked if she understood what I was saying... what a joke that girl should be fired and mountain America is a company that will choose what they will let you spend your money on.

      MACU in Hurricane, Utah. Employees at this branch are polite, knowledgeable and efficient. I always feel comfortable while waiting for service. I prefer going into the building than waiting in my car. Lately I had questions regarding a loan. The person who attended to my needs was quick in answering my questions and very quickly he resolved my situation. I have been with MACU for 11 years going back to SLC where I lived before. I highly recommend this Credit Union.

      Every single person I've dealt with in this branch has been an absolute pleasure. Always super friendly and acts like they want to be as helpful as possible. Opened a checking account almost 2 years ago because their auto loan rate was way better than the account I'd had elsewhere for 5+ years. Look forward to banking with MACU for years to come. Thanks for the great service you guys!

      I have been a customer of MACU since 2008, and today, I will be closing all my accounts with them. My personal, retirement, insurances, and business accounts. I want to make it clear, this in not just a review of the local branches here in Southern Utah, this is a review for the entire customer service that I have been encountering as of recently. Yesterday (Oct. 15, 2021) I was going to use my Platinum Visa I have with MACU to pay for a vehicle repair and was declined even though my card is at a $0 balance, and I have more than enough credit limit on it. I called the 1-800 number on the back of the card and was placed on a 20 minute queue. The repair shop was closing soon, so I had to leave. After approximately 40 minutes of wait time, I opt to receive a call back; which I never received. I call first thing in the morning again. I got a hold of someone within 5 minutes. This individual was rude, and not helpful at all, she transferred me to the fraud department as she claimed she could not help me. The fraud department said they could not help me because the people at the 1-800 number on the card did not create a case for them to pull up and thus had me call again. Not transfer, call again and get on the call in queue yet again. The fraud department said they could not transfer from their department to another, but somehow customer service can? Makes no sense, but I called yet again. I get ahold of another customer service person after waiting on the call in queue yet again. She cannot help and simply took down my information to have some "Card Specialist" call me later. "So what now,?" I asked her, I need to pay for my vehicle repair and my card is not working. She says, "go into the local branch in your city to see if they can help you" she says. I go into my local branch... They pretty much have the same excuse. "We don't know what is going on with your card, it is the repair shop's fault your card is not working." So I go into the Repair shop and asked them to try and charge my card once more, it gets declined. So I had an idea, I will will use another card, from MACU, also a VISA, but at a much higher interest rate, about 2.5 times higher and guess what? It worked. I of course go back into the local branch and ask them to please explain why one of their cards works, yet the other does not. They have yet again, no answers for me. They have the audacity to ask me if I want to take advantage of a "Higher earning interest Savings" account as I have a large sum of money in my savings account. Are you kidding me? I am done with MACU you as of today. So, what can I believe now? that MACU doesn't want me to use my super low interest rate card on a costly repair? They want to make more money off of me with my doubled the interest Card, also a MACU card? That is what it looks like to me. This is not my first and only frustration with MACU, I have had numerous headaches cause of their lack of customer support that I have had to resort to other banking solutions, or lenders in the past for both my personal and business banking needs. I hope this review sheds some light on those looking for a their banking needs.

      There is always room for improvement, for example having an ATM machine that can except cash with out the use of envelopes lol, that's why I gave 4 stars, it's just the little thing that I notice the most. Mountain America credit union is awwsome, it's very clean, and the staff is very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your needs are handled in a professional and timely fashion, I was in and out of there in no time. I recommend them to anyone that asks what bank should I get an account at 👍
