      Thirty year member. Made a deposit. I was advised the majority of the funds would not be available until eight days later. Why does MFCU need to hold my money so long? With today's technology, it is not clear why they want to hold my money. Must be beneficial to them to hold that long. The reason I was given is that is their policy. No other explanation is provided. I did call the manager, Gabriel in Poway. He said it was the MFCU policy and nothing could be done. When I asked to speak to his manager, he said the issue stopped with him. I did send an e-mail to both CEO Debra Schwartz and COO Robert Miller. I have yet to get a response from anyone at MFCU. If my business was really important (By the way, this is the typical response from MFCU on another review site listing the same issue I encountered) is sent to everyone with a negative review), my concerns would have been addressed rather than dismissed. I did notice a similar review with the same issue as mine where MFCU provided the same "We value your loyalty/membership" Unfortunately, they are meaningless words....

      Electronic Counterfeit Note Report Imagine needing $100 to pay your rent. But only because the bank that you trust gave you a fake $100 dollar bill. Counterfeit alert: when you receive cash from a teller ask for new bills only. I went to this location today 03/06/2021 to withdraw $1300 in large billls. I went straight to Chase bank to pay my rent on time. The teller at Chase notifies me that one of the 100 dollar bills is not real. I tell her that’s impossible Mission federal just gave me that bill. Long story short I was robbed of 100 dollars the manager at Mission said there’s is nothing we can do. I immediately terminated my banking with mission. PLEASE PEOPLE ASK FOR NEW BILLS ONLY. ***** I contacted corporate. But no response so far.

      Horrible the workers are sitting in the office while Troy is at the front counter. I'm standing in the line while the manager I guess and another employee is sitting in the office. Troy is taking care of the customer who had a lots of transaction. Next I noticed a lady coming from the back still not helping Troy. So when there was about five customers in line Frankie who were just sitting in the office decided to take a customer. I guess I wasn't a good enough customer to take.

      I love my Mission Fed in Poway... I just moved to Utah and made arrangements to KEEP my banking with Mission fed because I trust them and have done my business with them for more than 30 years!! Utah doesn't have mission Fed and I may open up a small acct here, but I won't let go of my fabulous Mission Fed and love of my Poway Branch!!! Thank you!!

      Horrible experience. Made to feel like a criminal for depositing a check. Terrible management and will NEVER be going back to this branch again

      I closed my account today. I had been with Mission Fed for ten years, and the service has always been good and there usually are friendly faces that I like to see. However, today I went in with $100 in twenties and was trying to get small bills and the teller refused. She asked me if it was for work and I said yes I was on the clock. She told me she couldn’t do it if it was for my work so I told her the money was mine, but she refused again. Thanks for making my life harder, I’m sure it would have been exausting to help me out. I made sure to tell all my coworkers about the service I got today so they all know to bank with somebody else, as well as tell my whole family who are all members of Mission fed as well.

      Always been good to me excluding this morning. I came to the front desk with a credit card that would not work despite the one it was to replace still working. Lady at front desk acted very rude and told me it works just fine and took my working card and shredded it. After verifying the new one did NOT she blocked both mine and my wifes cards. now we cant even buy groceries. Waiting 45 min now for her boss to fix it. Now late to my adoptive mothers funeral. THANKS MISSON!!! how about taking peoples word for it that thier card dosnt work instead of questioning them rudely.

      I've been a member for over 12 years and have always received great service, both in person at this branch in Poway and over the phone. My wife uses the Grossmont Center branch too and has had the same exceptional service. I've also had two car loans with Mission Federal. Best service I have ever experienced for either a bank (never again Wells Fargo or BofA) or any other credit union.

      Not only has the team here messed up our loans with our home, but every time I come here to do simple tasks like deposit money, there’s always a huge line and one teller. The other employees just sit around and don’t even offer to step in to help reduce the line

      Website goes down Waaaaayyy more then it should. No notice from ANYONE about it. Will be looking into new place for my banking. Never had a problem from SDCCU.....terrible practice.
