    I posted a review about 4 months ago regarding illicit charges from this bank, and their failure to honor the agreement that was made when I setup my account. Upon my next visit to the bank, I was accosted by the branch manager while I was speaking to the teller. In front of all the customers, she began asking me to remove the review. I felt so embarrassed. Since that day I have received a phone call from mhvfcu EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Monday through Saturday every morning I get a phone call from this bank. I have pleaded with them to please stop contacting me, but they told me I need to write a letter. Well, here's your letter. I also want to add that I was only drawn to the bank because of the low interest rate loans. I opted for an auto loan and they convinced me that I should buy the accidental death or loss of work insurance. After making 51 consecutive on-time payments, I had a financial issue because of loss of work due to covid. They denied my claim! Plain as day I still have the contract they should have either helped me with a couple payments or deferred them until I could get on my feet again. I had to rob Peter to pay Paul. If you miss 2 payments on your vehicle, MHVFCU will take your car. My friend does repo work and he tells me mhvfcu is among the most strict financial institutions with regards to the repossession of vehicles.     Country rudeness at its finest. I was going to open a large acct and never once did they say we value your business with us. They answered a few questions very curt Social graces and etiquette can cost an acct.

    I used this bank for over a decade. My whole family used to bank here. Last week I incurred over $500 worth of overdraft fees with respect to a single purchase. The way they tally purchases made over the off days is treacherous. They accept the largest purchases first, and append the smaller ones at the end. This means instead of 1 overdraft for a large purchase, you will receive multiple overdraft fees for things like gum. What a ripoff! Avoid the incredible fees at thia bank

    We have been working with Donna Chiappa on purchasing a new home in Florida and I must say she is an absolute Rock Star, because of our experience with Donna and MHV we will continue all our accounts with them, and when decide to get another home it will be because of Donna.

    I recently had a situation where my account was hacked. The branch Manager Donna sent me the resolution form when I did not receive it from the fraud Dept. She and her staff have always been so helpful. Donna was very reassuring when I was upset about our money being taken out of an ATM 6 hours from my home. I never give out my pin and I have the card in my possession. She guided me on ways to keep my account secure.
