MaryEllen House1I call the main office, spoke with Hillary. My question was about mobile deposit, how long does it take my mobile deposit to reflect in my account. I got asked my account number, social security, birthday, email. I asked to speak to a manager, which I was put on hold way too long. Why did I need to give out so much information if I only need a time factor. I hung up called Hooksett. A gentleman answered my question immediately, no hassle. Don’t mobile deposit checks on Saturday morning even though drawn on MCSB it is not available until Tuesday. This bank is outdated not current.

Jennifer Jackson1This bank is HORRIBLE! They approved my family for a construction loan we closed on the land all was good then they decided one of the applicants was not residing in the home and denied our loan. This left a family of 5 homeless. Literally homeless. We sold our home as we had to in order to get the construction loan no one there knows what’s going on ever and they never even gave us a chance to prove all applicants would be living there. Now we need to find housing before winter as we live in a camper with 3 children and a dog. They don’t care one bit that they did this to us and we were denied for no reason at all! Pam Starr and Lu Houle have no clue what they are doing. I would not recommend this bank. They should feel proud of making 3 children homeless!!

Michael Phillips5The Merrimack is a top notch bank...from the leadership team to the staff at local branches. Additionally, they demonstrate their genuine concern for the local community by supporting and donating to a multitude of charities. My business previously had a relationship with a larger, national bank for several decades. The level of service from the Merrimack, especially amid the pandemic, has far exceeded what we ever received from the larger bank. Thanks MCSB!

Steve Venezia1I went to Merrimack County Savings Bank because it was a local bank and it offered the loan program I wanted. I wish I could have that decision back. My experience with Merrimack County Savings Bank was terrible. My wife and I qualified for a large construction loan. The bank did not like the value the appraiser gave them so they asked the appraiser to justify the appraisal. Instead of offering justification she lowered it over $100,000 without any explanation. We dealt with this for over a month with little to no helpful response from the loan officer, higher ups at the bank or the appraisers. The customer service was terrible. They lacked responsiveness and professionalism. I would highly recommend against using Merrimack County Savings Bank for any banking needs.

Lois Davis4I have been banking at the Merrimack for over 10 years. All of the branches are amazing. The customer service is superior. Many tellers know be by first name. Love "small" town banking. The loan department is wonderful as well.

Amanda Venezia1The gross incompetence of this bank was absolutely unbelievable. Our construction loan was handled so poorly and resulted in undue stress and anxiety. Phone calls were not returned by our agent or upper management. I would NEVER EVER recommend this bank to anyone. We refinanced with Lake Sunapee as soon as we could and have been very happy with their level of service.

Dee Treybig5The mortgage process was unbelievably easy. Amazing customer service throughout and worked so well with our title company and realtor. We had problems with seller and title issues, but they worked around them all and took all the stress away from these issues. Thank you. Matt, at our Concord branch!

Secret City Legends1Been with MCSB for 18 months and within that 18 months i was refused money at 3 atm's and charged the amount that i had asked for. I wanted $80.00 dollars but the machine said "financial institution not available" so i wasn't given money but $80.00 was taken out of my account. Had to jump through hoops to get my money back...MCSB sucks!

Sean Ferry5It was the first bank I used growing up, and their service was so good that I continued to use them when I went off to college even though I could only visit the branches when I was home on break. Of course their online banking and partnership with other local banks' atms made sticking with them more practical as well.
