    The banking system is slow and it takes longer than any other bank I've used for funds to move in and out of my account. They have a ridiculous check fund hold policy, so even if your check is from a verified source they put holds on it. I've had transactions that stayed pending for well over the 72 hour expiration period even when the merchant cancelled the transaction. They need to update their systems to join the 21st century.

    Can't access my account for some reason and it's a weekend so I have to wait til Monday to talk to a customer service member, definitely switching to a bank that can satisfy my needs

    This bank was the only bank that helped me and was nice to me when I had credit problems years ago! I tell everyone to join! I feel they helped me re-build my credit and did NOT treat me like a 2nd class citizen because if my credit issues! Now my score is over 835!!!!! Thank you Empower FCU for helping me when nobody else would!!!!

    Theeee worst! I initially applied online for an account that just sat pending even after i supplied documentation. They visited the job and although i was elated i could open my account there via the rep i didnt care for his energy; it seemed to be a task to assist me and im sure they receive kickback for individuals opening accounts. The best thing is you can obtain your debit card if you go to the location and i was provided with exceptional service via the teller; the greeter can use some prompts from her. I attempted to then register for online banking; system not recognizing my info time and time again. I phoned customer service and she said there was a typo with my email but claim to have rectified it. Again i attempt to register but am met with the same issue now im peeved and these people want me to trust them with my money? Calling customer service is quite tedious as well the wait times are horrific!!! I think ill just open a bank account im sure they would fully appreciate my business. The 2 stars is for the rep in office at the Walden location in Cheektowaga.

    The Credit Union itself is good and gave me exactly what I was looking for in a bank, but this particular location is awful. Absolutely rude, catty and completely unprofessional every time I walk in the door. Whenever I've need assistance it has always been a very unpleasant experience.

    The bank itself is nice. However every time I have had to call for information, I wait at the very LEAST,10 minutes to speak with someone. Very unacceptable for customer service....thumbs down for that.
