Sarah Williams1My mother just recieved a letter from Kari Asuncion offering to help her sell "her" house. The house is titled under the names of both my father and my mother, so what might prompt this realtor to send a letter addressing only my mother? The answer. My father's obituary was published the same date of the letter! Talk about slimy ambulance chasers? Did she learn that working at the Mayo Clinic? Or is this a common strategy of edina realty to get ahead of the competition whatever it takes. With this tactless letter, Kari Asuncion has proven to be a slimy hearse chaser!! If you are going to make it a practice of chasing hearses to sell houses, the least you can do is add a note of condolence. In fact, do that first! Just come to the funeral and hand out business cards! Have the courage to look the bereaved in the eye and say "I'm so sorry for your loss, can I help you liquidate the rest of the memories for a healthy fee for me." On second thought, it would be better if you just got out of the home sale business, because you are doing it wrong!

Christine Fries1Our seller used Edina as his realtor and they have no respect for the home sale contract agreement. We had a stipulation on our purchase agreement that the seller would have a fully functional water softener in place prior to close. He did not follow through at all. When we contacted his agent to discuss, she told us he was a nice man and we should call our home warranty plan because that’s what it’s for. The home warranty is only going to cover a small portion of the system and now our only choice is to pay all of the extra ourselves (around $5000) or go through the process of suing the seller in small claims court. Our water is undrinkable sludge that is the color of hot cocoa and is staining everything it touches brown within minutes. Also, the seller had been informed several times that we work from home and need the Internet to keep our jobs- he decided it would be nice to cut the Internet line to the house prior to close....his agent also didn’t seem to think that was inappropriate.

Tim Seekon1Mary Erlandson is a scammer! My wife had a signed purchase agreement for a cabin. Log story short, Mary requested a new purchase agreement. Cancelled PA and waiting for listing to become active again, it shows up pending SOLD for $45,000 less than we offered. Cabin owners are in nursing care, so proceeds of sale go to? New owner of cabin is Mary's husband!!! CROOKED!!!!!
Response from the ownerHi Tim, Thanks for reaching out. The social media team has sent your comments to the sales office manager. - KS

Mike Jola1One of the worst places you could go through in the area worked on getting our dream house for 8 months of hangups and delays some to be expected but most were cause of their incompetence... not to mention the almost 2000 dollars we lost in earnest money and 500 for led tests..... me and my fiance are beyond upset.... but according to them its "all our fault"......
