Anonymous 11I called the branch in HotSprings and spoke with Tracy one week, then I called one week later and spoke to the branch manager(Today). Both experiences where non professional, my experience with Tracy was not great. Before arriving at the branch I spoke with her over the phone inquiring about what I needed to bring to open a business account. I had to drive about 30 miles to get to the branch when I got there she told me oh by the way you need your Articles of Incorporation I didn’t have that because she didn’t tell me I needed to bring it? She was unapologetic, I was very frustrated and trying to be sympathetic at the same time. So I left and do to the recent snow storm our state had I had to wait to follow up on continuing to open this account. Today I called the branch and spoke with the branch manager Nicole I asked her what I needed to bring in to open a business account? She said you need to have an established relationship with the bank for at least 2 months before you can open a account. I said I was just at this bank last week and Tracy did not say that was a requirement I explained to her my experience with Tracy, long story short Nicole started naming off other things that were needed and said that was all. I noticed she didn’t mention anything about what is the minimum amount needed to deposit to open the account then she began naming, oh you will need a savings account but interrupted her self and did not finish answering my question on the $ amount needed to open the account, and got upset and told me maybe I should find another bank to go and open up an account and hung up in my face. Moral of this story is I am running a business, I need to show up to the bank with every document needed so that I can open the account and go back to running my business. Nobody has time to waste time both of these ladies failed me big or maybe not because now that I think about it they may have saved me in the long run. I need a professional business relationship with those I plan to do business with. So if anyone who is reading this has this same or similar experience with them don’t be mad at them just look at it this way they did you a favor go and find a bank that will value you by making sure you understand everything that is required so that you can run a successful business.

Phillip Gray1I opened a checking and savings with this bank a month ago. Ive used their ATM machine at the Central Ave location 4 times. 3 out of the 4 times were unsuccessful. The ATM was down when I tried using it during a business day. I walked inside and asked if there was a problem with my card. They said, no our ATM is down. Im thinking, then why not have a sign on it that says it is down and come inside! I wanted to make a night deposit and the dinosaur ATM isnt capable of deposits. Yes I could have done a night deposit, but I want a receipt. They told me when the ATM is down, I can go to CVS and use the machine there. Tonight I tried to do a withdraw from my savings at the bank and it didnt work. So I went to CVS and tried the ATM there....NOPE! I tried to cash two checks at tbis bank that was made out to my mom's estate. I brought a death certificate and documents to show that I was the executive of the estate and they still would not cash the checks. Im moving my banking business to First Security and not dealing with this POS small bank again!
