Kory Kendrick5What an amazing group of people to work with! I had 3 VERY difficult buyers when selling my home! Virginia was extremely kind and helpful. I enjoyed working with her so much I've referred several people to her. This was my first time selling a home and she walked me through every step of the way. My final buyer was Jeff Choi who quite unjustly left a negative review below. He delayed the purchase by over a week because he didn't give approval to his finance company to move forward with lending. The paperwork he's referring to was delayed by his lender NOT Capital Title. He was also upset because he wanted to negotiate at closing, Capital Title then informed him that was not an option. Please don't let an unethical buyer sway your decision away from using Capital Title! I was so impressed with the service I switched my new home build to Capital Title instead of the builders title company. I had no prior history with them before this sale. My realtor made the decision to use them and thanks to her, I will continue to do so in the future. You won't be disappointed with your decision to use Capital Title!

Jeff Choi1This is the worst title company. Do not use them. Virginia Reitinger was my escrow assistant and she is rude and unprofessional. First, They got the final closing disclosure wrong several time. Second, it took them over a week to send me a copy of all the closing documents I signed. Here is the kicker. Virginia informs me that someone in the off got COVID-19 and that they can not have anyone come in. She offers 2 options, one is come to the parking lot and sign or they will send a notary to me to sign the paper work. I picked the notary. She did not disclose to me that they would charge $200 for this option. I get a money order for the amount the final close disclosure was for and when it was time to hand over the money order, it was $200 more because they sent a notary. It was not my fault they could not use their office and I was not told it would cost more money to have a notary sent to me. Stay away from this place and if you get Virginia, ask for someone else.

Kasey Ramos1Just a heads up for anyone thinking, like us, that a title co is a title co. Not all are professional, not all are ethical and not all will be an unbiased 3rd party. If a seller has a “preferred” title co. That could be a red flag. We pulled out of a deal, one day before the option period was up, due to a roof that needed to be completely replaced and was uninsurable and the seller did not wish to repair. Like anyone in our situation we “opted out” as we had paid the seller to have that choice. We were well within our right to pull out of the deal for NO reason, but in our case, had a pretty good one. We had already been made aware that the seller had a relative that worked for Capital Title, that was why he wanted to use them. A week after withdrawing from that contract we were still getting the run around about getting our earnest $$ back. They didn’t want to issue it back to us, but after a few phone calls between realtors and lawyers they did. We had to travel 45 miles to pick up the check. I’m sure there are many people who’ve gotten great service from this company, but we were not one.
