I have banked with Capital One for 19 years. Even before it was Capital One. As of today, I am switching ALL of my accounts. After sitting 20 minutes in the commercial lane to make deposits; she refused because I had $19 in ROLLED change on a $1200 deposit. This has never been a problem w any other teller. But since it is suddenly an issue. There are an abundance of FDIC banks in the area w better standards and I'm choosing to do business elsewhere.

My business loan had been approved for home health, went to recieve my funds at this specific bank. Was asked to identify myself which i did by sending state drivers license, Then was asked what my business id was. considering i am self employed with and only working for one elder at this time i have not ever needed, so then explained on my loan i did not need one. The teller then explained i needed a business account to accept the loan that was not only already processed but i had BEEN cashed?! I began to ask well this has already been transferred and cashed. She then proceded to explain she was now putting my account on hold. I asked why this is my personal account as well as busineess. with no explaination my account was locked for 48 hours. I gave up questioning and left to only get in my vehicle and call customer support like she had explained to do, i did and in turn was told to talk to the superviser at the bank they will help. So today i did just this. I asked the superviser to unlock my account for personal use, which he did but then asked me to take out my personal money because he was now Closing my account for good? I still have not made a complaint or even argued, but this is not ok in anyway. I was not given an explanation as to WHY i had to close my entire account? Now i will have to open a new account and my business loan has been on hold. This is not ok

I went to open a business account and they forgot to get me and my wife to sign some required documents. We had to go back at a later date. We live far away so it was an inconvenience to say the least. Then I went to execute a large business transaction, wrote a check for it to take mo ey out of MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT! NSF charge because I didn't have the funds in there. That is not acceptable....not even a little bit to have checks ordered for my savings account. Unbelievable I hope they fix this accountability problem. I love Capital One.

Debit was stolen the week before last... ran my account to the negative spoke to a woman on that Thursday! A new card was sent out and she told me it takes 24 hours to get the funds back that was taken, even admitted to knowing the card was taken before I even called! Checked my account, no funds, called them back, oh it’ll be 10 business days! Ok, it’s been ten business days and still no funds! I call them back and one lady didn’t recognize my account, I been a customer for like five years! I finally get someone on the phone and she gives me the run around something about “oh you need a case number” there was never a case filed.. so then she wants me to file a case... a case should’ve been filed the day I called not 10 days later when I’m supposed to receive my funds.. but you know something like this happened a year ago with the atm taking my money and not putting it in my account I called they ran me around but I was pretty nice about it... now I understand how their policy works if you lose your money anyway shape or form even if it’s by their machine! They will not pay for it! Cause I’m such a nice person and I love capital one so much everytime I get the chance I will steer people away from this bank! I will be removing my money from capital one as soon as I get the chance! What a bunch of damn sorry crooks!

You could put a sing on the door that tells people what time you will be open on President's Day drove all the way from here from Franklinton and y'all are not open and don't even have a sign saying what time y'all would be open other than hours may be affected by today that tells a lot

      Response from the owner

We hate to see that you may have been inconvenienced, Amanda. We do post our holiday hours online at www.capitalone.com for each branch location. Just tap 'Locations' (http://maps.capitalone.com/locator/) and slide us your zip for a list of locations nearby and the up to date hours (holidays included).
