    Had to open a checking account didn't have an appointment ... This place was great got through it 30 minutes and was done... How can life get better than that!!..jahlissa .. hope I spelled it right. Was the person that helped me ,,,she the best..thanks 👍💰💵

    Poor Service=No Star Decided to give Bethpage Federal Credit Union( in Elmont, NY) a try, due to convenience. Service/Customer Service has been extremely horrible from the very beginning. ATM’s seems to always be out of service, in so many different locations. My cards have been defective, which seem to be poorly made... My bank account has been access fraudulently and have funds stolen and used to open another account in another state-Customer Support was difficult to reach, when I need to have my account/bank card closed. There is only one 800# that is used for every and all issues... Teller lines are long due to slow tellers service-tellers seem to be confused about very basic transactions if you speak to or visit the bank several different times, you will be told so many incorrect information about the same processes/procedures (There are no Customer Service Rep.when entering branch). Some representatives seems to be extremely unhappy and have attitudes. Better branch teller service is definitely needed.

    I must say, My experience was Spectacular. I didn't have an appointment, had a problem for a while (5+ years)and didn't know how to get a Resolve...and what to do..try many ways to fix..no luck But Branch manager..Tameka grant, Sprung into action.... Problem fixed .. I may happy camper🙂...she made it easy and understandable.....account back on action 🎬

    The staff are patient and kind. Every time I come here I get great service. Dealing with different personalities everyday is a challenge in of itself but they do a great job managing expectations of the clients. They even have business banking which is awesome. Elmont Bethpage is in a great location and it’s a great credit union.

    Terrible service. Long lines outside in the cold during covid meanwhile other banks are letting appropriate amount of people in. Their ATM was not functioning for months. Give yourself a minimum of 45 minutes for drive through service. I was given incorrect information to get my ATM card reset. Rude and unprofessional . New rule every time you come. Always aggravated coming here.

    The workers are awesome - some are quicker then others. One thing that is constant/consistent is the tremendous wait times. The drive-thru by far the worst and so is the outside ATM. The system’s need to be updated- if us as customers is frustrated... then just imagine how the employees feel.. Stop looking over the residents of Elmont- these problems don’t happen in lynbrook or at the valley stream king kullen.

    Wait times are horrendous. Customer support is pretty much non existent. ATM is broken. I waited 1 hour in the drive through just to have the window close on me as soon as I pulled up. They seem to have no way of telling time in this place because even though it’s about to close they proceed to allow customers through just so they can be hit with closed windows. There should be a point in which they don’t allow customers through so it can prevent them from wasting their time and angering them.

    My first time at this branch and was greeted very kindly. I didn’t like that I had to make my large cash deposit at the window instead of in a little more private setting... I finally got to see Mircha who helped me open my money markets close savings accounts transfer balances and she didn’t rush me and assisted me in everything I needed with respect and a smile. She made me feel very comfortable and treated me like the VIP member I am. It is because of her that I would not hesitate to bank at this location again! Anyone looking to get some banking done feel free to see her. The restaurant of the staff was all smiles and very pleasant although I didn’t deal with any of them specifically.

    I like it. People are approachable with no glass in between you and the teller. Free coin counter, free cashier check. I think it is great. The branch can get busy, so time your visit wisely. They open until 7 on Friday. Great for working people.

    In my experience I wouldn't recommend this credit union to anyone if you need flexibility and convenience. They dropped the ball during this COVID pandemic instead of making sure they do everything in their power to help there customers while making sure their employees are safe. They shortened their hours of operations and only had one location with a drive thru. You can imagine how long the lines were at this location.The one thing I feared the most happened during the pandemic was losing my card, which is what happened. They gave no access to a temporary cards. Also they literally made me wait 11 days before I got a new card. They have this two step method for new cards now where mail you a new pin for the new card then mail the new card. I got the pin 4 days after I reported it stolen and waited another 6 days for the actual card. A secret for bethpage in the banking app for your company they literally have secured email you could've sent me the new pin through the secured banking email. I would have probably gotten the card in 4 days instead of a useless pin. During this pandemic do you know how detrimental it is to have no money for two weeks. No money for food, water or bills. When I called customer service they said just wait it out no solutions provided. Also if you want to overnight the card good luck because costs $44 while at the post office it costs maybe $25 to overnight something weird huh. They don't have many atm's anywhere or locations, so I wouldn't recommend.
