I never knew a company like this one, the worse title company there is!! Lory Mitchell is very insolent, disrespectful, low minded, inefficient, dishonest, and corrupt. I highly do not recommend doing business here. A very disorganized company that lacks knowledge. Definitely not an error-free company. Do not trust Assured Title & Trust, its a disgrace doing any business with them!! She doesn't how to be an honest and professional person, don't do any kind of business with her, she does mistakes and doesn't accept them and blame all the rest of the people. And just wait for her excuse and on this review!!

BY FAR THE BEST!!! With several hundred transactions closed I can say as a Real Estate Broker Assured Title and Trust is the absolute best and most professional we have ever worked with! They saved so many of our customers money and all of our customers rave about them! Thank you especially to owner Lory Mitchell and the rest of her team!!!

Once again Lory Mitchell and her team at Assured Title helped with a difficult closing. They are fabulous to work with. As a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty, a reliable title company is a key part of my business.

I've known Lory Mitchell for over a decade and can assure you that the low rating below has no weight on her character or experience. I have never had an issue closing any of my files with Assured Title & Trust. She makes my life easier and is proactive, knowledgeable, organized, honest, reliable... to name a few. These traits are also present with her team. My clients are happy with their service, which in turn makes me happier!

We have been using Assured Title & Trust for over a year now and every single one of our clients LOVE working with them. They are friendly, experienced, and affordable. I can send them a file and not worry about a thing. They make my job as a loan originator so much easier. I recommend them to all of the realtors I work with.

If I did not work in another title company, I would definitely want to be part of this team! Lory and her team go above and beyond to provide her clients with the exceptional service they deserve. Their staff is a pleasure to work with and their level of professionalism is amazing. I would recommend them in a heart beat!

Take the minimum single star for the welcoming sign, and the cheerful attitude of all the girls I dealt with during my closing. The type of business practice I was victim of, however, would deserve a negative rating should google allow that. As the buying party in a transaction held at Assured Title & Trust, I only expected for the company to abide by the law and by the documents, without siding with the selecting party. To make the long story short, the agreed upon contract called for the owner to pay for all pending assessments. The estoppel letter provided by the H.O.A. stated there were two of them: one for $4,000, and another one for $7,000. On closing, I am surprisingly presented with a hold-harmless agreement letter by which I was assuming the second assessment, and freeing the seller, her broker, and the title company itself from their contractual responsibility. Although the letter was not disclosed with the anticipation required by law, but it came as a shock as I was rushed through documents in that (purposely freezing cold?) conference room, I signed it anyway. I had no option as the committed move out date of my previous residence was set and postponable. Counting my losses, but trusting these type of practices put business out of the market sooner than later, may this warning report of my experience be a small contribution to rush the process.

      Response from the owner

We apologize if you misunderstood the estoppel and your responsibility. The association’s estoppel was sent to you & your realtor 10 days prior to the date we closed for your review and the ability to ask questions to the association or our office. The assessment which was collected from the seller was the only current special assessment. The association advised us that there was going to be an assessment starting in December 2020 so we were advising you of same. Because the monies are being collected from the then owner after closing and we wanted to make sure you were aware we provided you with a hold harmless that you understood this was your responsibility and not covered in the closing costs or title insurance. I hope this clarifies things for you and I ask that you re-review your estoppel to see the due dates. As to the temperature in the room we apologize if you were uncomfortable but we have no control over the building management and the A/C temperature is not regulated by us but we did have a heater which should have been turned on for you.

Came here to sign all of our paper work in order to finish buying our house. Sandra attended us, from the beginning she was very polite, very welcoming. She read everything clearly and always asked if we had any questions. She was very nice and I recommend her 100%. Amazing service!!! Thanks Sandra!

We have already advised you and the attorney that represented your client in the subject transaction that the seller was not charged the commission correctly on the ALTA (as it was approved that way by you, them and their attorney) and that they are legally obligated to pay this to you under the listing agreement between you and your client. It has been a month since this ALTA was executed and over 2 weeks since we closed and it is only today that you contacted us. We have been in touch with our only form of contact for the seller (their attorney) and there has been nothing insolent, disrespectful, low minded, dishonest or corrupt in any of our dealings with you as the only one hurling insults via email and on this review has been you. Was there a human error, yes. Was it done by all 4 parties, absolutely. Have we done what we can to remedy the issue, also yes.
