Too many rules; too little discretion among front-line workers. Lots of "sorry, but..." I mostly bank at a small town bank -- way better service and flexibility to get things done. Avoid the big banks when possible!

I've been a customer for over three years and I've always found everyone to be very pleasant and helpful. It's not often that I go into a branch office, but when I have, my experiences have been positive. Their banking offerings are comprehensive, and their rates are in line with what I would expect from a local bank. I'm pleased at the improvements they've made to their mobile app over the last year or so. I plan on continuing my banking relationship with them for the foreseeable future.

Whoever was working the drive thru today needs to work on their customer service. I was first to pull up and yet the second vehicle to pull up was greeted first with a hello and how are you. When I sent my deposit in, I wasn’t greeted at all, instead she didn’t say anything for a minute then says okay I finished your deposit. Just disrespectful. I don’t bank with them, I was making a deposit for someone else, so maybe that’s why I wasn’t greeted. Either way I’m glad I don’t bank with them anymore.

Seriously, just choose a different bank. We financed our mortgage for our home construction through associated bank. They disbursed funds that we didn't approve and then pretended like that didn't happen and tried to avoid giving us our records. We eventually refinanced with another bank and then went in to close our checking account. Despite several bankers at their desk with no customers, we were told we would have to wait 30 minutes. The fact they make it difficult to close an account is a strong example of our entire experience with them. One other example of their poor ethics was that despite my wife's name being listed first everywhere on our documentation, Mark Tripp, our personal sexist banker, sent a Christmas card to me without my wife's name on it. He made several other inappropriate remarks to my wife as well and was rude to one of the workers at the bank when we closed for our mortgage.

I called today with some questions and spoke to a very nice gentleman named Andrew. He tried to transfer me to someone who could better help me but the call got disconnected. When I called back, a woman answered and could not have been more rude! She refused to answer any of my simple questions and then wouldn't transfer me back to Andrew ( the nice guy) and said that no one named Andrew worked there!!! Terrible joke or just down right awful employee!!
