Alaina Julian1Horrendous service. They sent me a new card because they made an update to their card system. The letter that came with it said that my original card would continue to work for the next month. When I tried to set up the new card,, the automated phone system said they were unable to activate my card. Which is fine, because my original card was working just fine…. Except that it wasn’t. Next thing I know, I’m in the check out line buying work supplies that I need to have delivered to a job in the next hour and my card is declined. I just checked my balance and had more than enough funds. I contacted card services and their only solution is to have someone call me the next day. I need a credit union I can trust. I use this card for business purchases and when I travel. What happened when I’m 1000 miles away from home with no access to my funds because they’ve canceled my cards without warning?

Marty Plisch5I have been a satisfied customer for about 20 years. Great customer service on 2 car loans and they were super helpful on a loan 10 years ago. Unfortunately I will be parting ways with them as I am moving out of the area. Hopefully will find another institution that has similar professional skills and services. Thank you all for a great banking experience

Sad Panda1This "credit union" is as bad or worse then a regular bank. Go to a real credit union like Travis, unify, Patel Co. Anywhere but here

Ana Ortega1I have tried to use their app so that I can see my bank statements for years and I have never been able to. This caused me distress and difficulties as I also had an employer that wouldn’t pay me on time. The result was that I would have to drive to the bank every week just to see what I was payed. I tried to “fix” my accounts multiple times throughout the years. And the employees tried to help but I never got to have my online banking statements as most people do. For some particular reason, I was always Locke spit of my account and it never got fixed no matter how many times I called support. I would be given a temporary password and it wouldn’t work still.I don’t recommend.

Twilla Freedle1The manager at the local Benicia bank is horrible. She is rude and un helpful. My mother in law has an account with them and when we went in to take care of some business with my mother in laws account, the manager told us our paperwork was fake , and then started being very rude to us. My mother in law was with us and the manager called her a liar. My mother in law has dementia and now just recently had a stroke, but since the bank manager refused to accept the paperwork that gives us the authority to make decisions on this account we will have to stop the deposits to this account and go open another account which is time consuming and a pain when we are already dealing with enough of an situation as it is. I would never use this bank unless the manager gets replaced. There is never a need to have a hostile person dealing with customers when there is no need for it.

Marshall Manning1This is literally the worst banking institution I've ever dealt with. They have no customer service skills whatsoever. I've been trying to deal with the death of my mother, who had a trust account there, and have had four interactions with various "customer service" (I use that term VERY lightly) people and managers. All of them promised return calls the same day or by a specified time, and none of them actually did what they promised they would do. I waited on hold one day for over 20 minutes while the woman I spoke with tried to find a manager to speak with, and my phone call was interrupted by someone actually calling back from the day before. After I was done with her, I returned to the original call, and the person had hung up. Apparently it's okay for me to hold for 20 minutes, but they can't hold for 3 minutes. Both prior to my mother's passing, and afterwards, all communications with this credit union have been slow, overly complicated, and unresponsive, and their attitude seems to be that they are "putting up with" their customers. It took my wife and I reaching out to them numerous times, and explaining that they had a legal obligation to settle my mother's account, before they finally fixed the problem. Maybe the possibility of legal action is what it takes to get service here? Even with that, we again had to wait, call back after we were told I would be contacted by 3:00 by a manager (I wasn't..so we had to call again...surprise). Once I was finally contacted, it took Julie Solis less than 5 minutes to take care of what needed to be done. Yet it literally took 10 hours or more of our time trying to get this done because of the terrible overall customer service. I would encourage anyone who deals with this organization to take their money out and find a credit union that actually values their customers and taking care of them. If I could give them 0 stars (except for Julie) and still submit this review, I would, but Google won't allow that.

Abel Wickham5Excellent local credit union. Their services they offer are straightforward and their representatives have always been friendly and easy to deal with. I've been to four of their locations around the bay area and wait times have always been quick. Update: They're also not out to get you. I recently was charged a NSF fee but deposited sufficient cash same day and they automatically refunded the NSF fee when the transaction posted:)

Rob Linders1Horrible experience, would not recommend. I called the main # and asked for the loan dept. After 5mins of them trying to figure it out they apologized and said they couldn't locate that extension! I had to hang up and call back to get someone else who was able to transfer. Then once connected I tried to change my loan payment due date to the end of the month with the rest of my bills and they said the only way to do it is to mail me a whole new contract to sign. I've changed due dates with numerous lenders over the phone with no issue. Then I asked about emailing it, they said they didn't have my email address on file and the only way to add it is by them sending me a form in the mail... I asked about online payments via their website. They said they could but after 15min of being told I'm doing it wrong it was determined that they need to have my email address already in the system to create an online user/account. Then after escalation they said the only other way would be to fax it and have me fax it back. Who has a fax machine anymore?!? Waste of over an hour today trying to give them my money (loan payment). If you like old school ways of working, this bank is for you!

C.T Harvey5Opened up Checking and Savings at this location Friday the 8th and I got nothing but great service and very friendly staff. As I was sitting there customer service was outstanding as each person came in. The security guard out front was very friendly and opened the doors for customers.

Brandon Dugan5I been banking with them since I was 8 years old. Previously know as Contra Costa Credit Union before they changed names. I prefer this branch over the one downtown because it has more parking.
Response from the ownerHello Brandon, thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear our Center Avenue branch is convenient for you!
